Venue Options and Pricing: The Station indoor venue is available for hire at a rate of R10,000 per event. This price includes access to the 280sqm indoor space and the use of the outside grass area. The grass area alone, suitable for erecting a marquee, is available for hire at a rate of R7,000. Booking and Payment: A R5,000 deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance of the rental fee is due 14 days before the event. If payment is not received by the due date, the event booking will be canceled. The deposit is refundable if the event is canceled 30 days prior to the event date. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. Damage and Liability: The lessee is responsible for any damages to the venue or property during the event. The deposit will be used to cover any damages, and additional charges will apply for significant damages beyond the deposit. Sugar Village insures the building; however, the lessee will be responsible for covering the insurance excess in the case of a claim. Venue Capacity and Setup: The capacity for the venue will be determined on-site and communicated to the lessee. The lessee is responsible for ensuring the event does not exceed this capacity. Access for setup will be discussed and arranged in advance. Venue Inclusions: The venue hire includes bathroom facilities and basic supplies. Equipment such as tables, chairs, and marquees are not included. Sugar Village offers cleaning services for a fee of R1,500, which must be paid 30 days before the event. Parking: On-site parking is available, and any specific conditions or arrangements will be communicated by a security guard if needed.
